　　一、    基本概念

　　1、用法：现在或现阶段正在进行的事

　　2、标志词：now

　　3、方法：doing→being done

　　4、结构：am/is/are doing→am/is/are+being done  (过去时：was/were being done)

　　现在进行时的被动语态由"be being＋及物动词的过去分词"构成,助动词be有人称和数的变化(am, is are ).

　　1）Modern cell phones are being used as cameras and radios, and to send e-mail or surf the Internet..

　　现代的手机正用照相机、收音机，并用来发送电子邮件或上网浏览。

　　2）New functions are being added to the cell phones.

　　新的功能正在往手机上添加。

　　3）Is a computer center being built for the students?

　　学生计算机中心正在建设吗？

　　4）Are those TV sets being checked?

　　那些电视机正在被检测吗？

　　5）The letter is not being written.

　　那封信没在写。

　　6）The money for the project is not being collected.

　　用于那项工程的钱没在筹集。

　　二、现在进行时的被动语态 "五注意"

　　1. 注意不可遗漏being

　　现在进行时的被动语态表示说话时正在进行的一个被动的动作,强调主语是动作的承受者,其构成为"am / is / are + being+动词的过去分词"。如果我们把being漏掉,就成为一般现在时的被动语态或系表结构。

　　如: Look! The children are being taken care of by their aunt.  瞧!那些孩子正由他们的姑妈照看着。

　　区别：Children are taken good care of at school.     孩子们在学校被照看得很好。(指通常情况)

　　再如：The report is being written by one of the best students.  报告正在由一名最好的学生写着呢。The report is well written. 这个报告写得很好。(系表结构)

　　1. 注意不可忽视 "现阶段"

　　现在进行时的被动语态也可表示目前这一阶段正在进行的一个被动的动作。

　　如:

　　Many interesting experiments are being carried out these days.

　　如今许多有趣的实验正在被进行着。(说话时,并不一定在进行)

　　3. 注意现在进行时的被动语态也可以表示将来

　　现在进行时的被动语态有时可表示按计划或安排将要进行的一个被动的动作(此种用法仅限于少数及物动词)。如:A party is being held tonight.今晚将要举行一场晚会。

　　4.注意没有现在进行时的被动语态的动词

　　一些表示"状态、心理活动、拥有、存在"等的动词,一般不用现在进行时的被动语态,而常用一般现在时的被动语态。如:

　　Xiao Wang, come here. You are wanted on the phone.  小王,过来,有你的电话。

　　Football is becoming more and more popular. In other words, it is loved by more and more people.

　　足球现在越来越流行了, 换句话说,它被越来越多的人喜爱。

　　5. 注意"be +under/ in等介词+名词"结构可表示现在进行时的被动语态的含义。

　　如:

　　The problem is under discussion (is being discussed) at the meeting.

　　这个问题正在会上讨论。

　　The telephone is in use (=is being used) now.  这部电话正在使用中。

　　A new library is being built now.一座新图书馆正在被修建。

　　Some animals are not being protected well enough.

　　有些动物没有受到很好的保护。

　　Is the bridge being repaired now?

　　现在那座桥在修吗？

　　三、综合练习

　　用现在进行时的被动语态改写下列句子。

　　1.She is teaching the boy English.

　　2.Now he is making the girl water the tree.

　　3.They are writing a report about the negative effects of cell phones in school．

　　4.She is making Tom a new coat．

　　5.We are painting our classroom now.
