　　一词多义和一词多性

　　1. sustain   vt. 维持， 供养， 支撑， 遭受

　　如： The love and support of his family sustained him during his time in prison.

　　如： a sustained attack 持续的攻击

　　如： sustain an injury 遭受损失

　　如： The evidence is not detailed enough to sustain his argument.

　　2. fade    v. 褪去， 失去光泽， 衰老
